Warrior of light (Paulo Coelho) - The chosen ones

You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit—fruit that will last. Then the Father will give you whatever you ask in my name. John 15-16

How many people believe in chiming of bells from submerged temple ruins, hear it and from deep within can decipher its hidden meanings and have a conviction to follow it blindly. A conviction, a belief, that demarcates chosen from the common.

These chosen ones, who believe in omens can often become beacons of light helping convert treacherous non fertile wastelands to productive farmlands and even get buried in those wastelands trying to plough the way through. Manuel of the warrior of Light ( Hope) is a manual for all to understand themselves as beacons with a higher cause. Warriors of light ignites the fire, shows the path and gets merged with that fire consuming himself/herself to become one with the flame so that new paths are well lit for generations to follow.

Ya, ya  I ve heard it before many times, yes you have, and yes these lights have been instrumental in changing the way you and the humanity thinks, works and lives. True, everyone has come into this world with a cause and to understand the cause, you will have to listen to bells from your submerged temple. Deep submerged, you know what your destiny has to offer you but you will have to listen hard and believe in those bells and then it will lead you to be a flame that consumes you but making you fodder for a new generation who uses your sacrifice as a torch to achieve fulfillment by being a burning edifice to lead the next generation of torchbearers.

Gratification is all that matters in life and that is a chemical stimulus. We all strive to achieve that. Most do achieve it but for the Warriors of hope, making him go through uncharted wastelands blindly following the submerged bells hoping to convert wastelands to fertile plains and often perishing before the wick can produce a powerful torch but appealing like John the Baptist of an avatar Superior to him, whose shoe-strings he not worthy to tie.For he (The next in line) must rise and I must wane as predicted by those submerged bells even when conversion of wastelands to fertile plains where seeds could spout and bear fruit was a reality, the avatars job was done and was happy to be a snubbed torch on a silver plate.

This is a prologue to my views on the warrior of light, who lights up a path and gives us hope. Read more of these torchbearers who burns themselves, are termed as beacons of light and hope but if you went deep into their existence (they) lead a life so unfulfilling to be cannon fodder to many generation of gratified souls. All he asked of his father was gratification and then he gets to do the menial work of creating farmlands out of wastelands so that the gratified souls could live a contended life.

More on these warriors who believe in submerged bells later

we view life as Kaleidoscopic patterns

What is a Kaleidoscope [n.] - An instrument invented by Sir David Brewster, which contains loose fragments of colored glass, etc., and reflecting surfaces so arranged that changes of position exhibit its contents in an endless variety of beautiful colors and symmetrical forms.

Well, if this is the case how can life be a Kaleidoscope? So I re fabricate the statement to lifes situations could be Kaleidoscopic. ( How is that) What I am gunning at is the fact that our reactions to situations in life are purely a consorted interplay between different attributes which I would compare to the four mirrors of a Kaleidoscope and those vala pottukal.

The attributes according to me which forms the three mirrors on the side in a physical Kaleidoscope would be the internal factors which are

Your level of Intelligence ( IQ)
Emotional quotient (EQ)
How u want to see the situation

The pieces of coloured glass according to me are the external factors which play in that situation. These are usually people that constitute the situation.

The all important 4th mirror which is placed perpendicular to the other mirrors which gives out the final output takes its feed from how the external situation ( coloured glass) reflects on the internal factors ( the 3 mirrors) . The output you see is your Kaleidoscopic pattern. This pattern will change from person to person as all might have varying internal factors and with the same person at different points in time because they might want to see the situation differently at different points in time and because of different emotional states

Now what happens when we rotate the Kaleidoscope?

Once we tilt the position of the Kaleidoscope taking into consideration what we see in the output mirror for that situation, the external factors( Coloured glass) also take different positions. Now that is a new situation which we analyse again using the 3 mirrors and getting the output through the fourth mirror.

What is important is that when we tilt the scope thinking that the situation is favourable and judge the external factors favourably, the external factors when they look into their scope ( here you are an external factor) you will also be judged favourably leading to a win win situation. On the other hand when you were to judge another unfavourably its more likely to lead to a conflict.
